General advantages Finotive Funding
- After 30 days of trading, the firm reimburses the trader 100% of the challenge cost if the account is profitable.
- On Pro accounts, the trader receives a “motivational fixed payment” equal to 1% of the account capital (similar to a monthly salary), regardless of trading results.
- Operates through its own broker – Finotive Markets LLC.
- Has its own digital wallet system (Finotive Pay) for convenient and fast withdrawals.
- A permanent 25% discount on the first purchase for all users of Bestproptop.com.
General disadvantages Finotive Funding
- To qualify for scaling, the trader must complete at least 50 trades within 90 days, and no single trade may generate more than 7.5% of total profit.
- There is a consistency rule (for Finotive Pro): after the first 30 days of funding, the trader must maintain the weekly number of trades and volume within ±25% of the average during the challenge phase; otherwise, the account may be closed.
- Restrictions:
-
Finotive Funding works with traders from most countries worldwide. The only exceptions are the United States, Iran, and North Korea.

Trader Support and Feedback
- Declared communication channels:
-
Email • Available. A response to my inquiry was received by email within a few hours. This channel can be used to contact support.
Online chat • Available. The conversation in the chat starts with an AI assistant, but upon request it quickly switches to a support agent. The bot is well trained; at least all my questions regarding trading conditions or withdrawals were answered clearly and to the point, without redirecting me to long Terms & Conditions pages.
The support agent also demonstrated competence and patiently answered all my questions, including openly provocative ones (“Tell me in detail about your disadvantages”).
Knowledge base • Available. The search works correctly. The knowledge base is well structured — all necessary information is logically organized not only by sections but also by account type, which allows users to quickly find the required answers. Access to the knowledge base is available both from the website’s main page and from the personal account.

The company is present on social networks: X (Twitter), Discord, Instagram, and Telegram.
Finotive Funding also has its own YouTube channel. What stood out positively is that the channel provides video explanations of all changes to trading conditions and platform updates. These are not standard press releases in an “Updates” section, but detailed video tutorials. For example, the channel includes a video presentation of the updated Finotive 3.0 personal account.
Restrictions, fines, blocking
- Blocking for account inactivity:
-
The inactivity period is 30 days. If no new trades are opened on the account for 30 consecutive days (even if positions remain open), the account may be closed without a refund. Before closure, the trader receives two email reminders.
- Single IP rule:
-
There is no strict IP rule. The company allows trading on the account from different networks and IP addresses, for example during relocation, without causing any issues or restrictions. However, there is one requirement — the trader must use their own device to log into the account.
- Overnight position:
-
Holding positions overnight and over weekends is allowed on all account types, without restrictions. In addition, to avoid swap fees when holding positions overnight, Finotive Funding offers an additional swap-free account option at the time of purchase.
- Copy trading:
-
Copy trading is allowed on all account types, but only under the condition that trades are copied between the trader’s own accounts and that the trader uses their own trading strategy. Copying trades of other traders, purchasing third-party strategies, or using external signal services is prohibited.
- Use of VPN and VPS:
-
Allowed, provided that the same device is always used to access the account.
- Prohibited trading practices:
-
- Excessive risk or gambling-style trading, such as using notional leverage exceeding 1000% of the balance, sequential Martingale/grid strategies, or random switching between assets and lot sizes.
- High-frequency trading (HFT), arbitrage, exploitation of latency, or price feed manipulation.
- Hedging between different Finotive accounts or with external brokers (“reverse trading”). Hedging is allowed only within a single account.
- Copying trades of other traders, using purchased trading signals, or signals from external social platforms.
- Placing simultaneous buy and sell orders ahead of major news events in order to capture any strong price movement.
- Instant removal of stop-loss orders, using excessively large lot sizes with minimal stops, or trading news with unbalanced risk.
- Sharing account access with third parties, using suspicious payment methods, or providing false identity information.
- Manipulative behavior, such as using bots designed to bypass the rules, opening sets of correlated trades to artificially increase risk, or mirroring trades across multiple accounts.
- Claims to blocking conditions:
-
No claims.
Convenience of the personal account
- Informativeness of the personal account:
-
The Finotive Funding dashboard is concise yet highly informative – everything necessary is at hand, with no unnecessary elements. All key trading metrics are displayed in real time, allowing the trader to immediately see what is working and what requires closer attention.
- Correspondence of information on the site with the Personal Account:
-
The information corresponds.
- Navigation and usability:
-
Finotive Funding recently performed a major upgrade of the trader’s personal account to version 3.0. This update affected not only the visual design but also the functionality. The personal account truly looks innovative:
- All trading rules are automated, quantitatively measurable, and tracked in real time. If a violation occurs, the system shows why it happened and how to avoid the mistake in the future.
- An advanced risk calculator has been added, taking into account current exposure, real-time prices, and the trader’s individual risk profile, providing a clear forecast before each trade.
- Trades can be edited with one click: traders can quickly add a stop-loss or adjust risk directly from the dashboard.
Negative Reviews Online
There are plenty of reviews about Finotive Funding online, as the firm is popular among prop traders. Naturally, there are also critical opinions. However, they account for a relatively small portion — approximately one-fifth of the total volume of feedback. These mainly concern disputed interpretations of trading conditions and the objectivity of challenge result evaluations.
In one review, for example, the author acknowledges two clear violations of trading rules on their part, yet still demands a payout and, after not receiving it, publishes a negative review.

Notably, the company provided an official response to the trader.

In another review, a trader openly states that they simply “do not like the trading rules” of the firm, which is why they wrote a negative review. Interestingly, in this case as well, Finotive Funding responded by pointing out that after publishing the review, the trader purchased another account and continued using the company’s services.

Opinion of the Mystery Shopper
If we lay out the advantages and disadvantages of the company clearly, the assessment, in my opinion, is obvious. The minimum Finotive Funding challenge is one of the cheapest in the industry. There are single-stage and two-stage tests, as well as an instant funding program. There are challenges specifically for professionals, where the trader also receives a monthly salary. Trading conditions are flexible: news trading, swing trading, trading robots, and copy trading are allowed. Moreover, if you trade successfully, the cost of the challenge will be refunded. In general, if you are disciplined and ready to work according to the system, Finotive offers an excellent opportunity to trade someone else’s capital — without surprises or unnecessary stress. However, those who prefer fast hype and aggressive strategies may find it too restrictive.
Is the company suitable to be recommended for cooperation?
Yes, I would recommend this company to those who are just starting to try their hand at prop trading. Finotive Funding offers affordable challenges, and there is also a good discount on the first purchase. Trading conditions can be tested in demo mode. In my view, the company deserves a high level of trust.

Reviews
Honestly, I was really disappointed with Finotive Funding. I signed up thinking it would be a smooth process to get funded and start trading, but it turned into a total headache. The evaluation rules are confusing, and even when you follow them to the letter, they find some tiny reason to mark a trade “invalid.” Customer support is painfully slow — sometimes you wait days for a reply, and when they finally answer, it’s usually just a copy-paste response that doesn’t really help. The platform itself feels unstable; I’ve had orders disappear or charts freeze during crucial moments. On top of that, there’s constant upselling of extra services that supposedly “boost your chances,” which feels sketchy and unnecessary. I honestly don’t see why anyone would trust them until they actually fix the system and hire people who know what they’re doing.
I passed the challenge in 2 weeks via forex & indices trading and withdrew cleanly — payouts came fast.
But there are caveats. Slippage during volatile moves was brutal — one user reported a 600% slippage hit due to tight stop loss rules. Rules seem to change arbitrarily mid-account, including withdrawal reductions citing “cash risk” unexpectedly.
All in all — if you're trade small size, and watch rule updates closely, Finotive can work. But beware of hidden risk tweaks and support inconsistencies.
So far, Finotive Funding has been pretty solid. Got my account setup super fast, and the rules actually make sense — nothing confusing or sneaky. Been trading mostly EUR/USD and NAS100, and execution feels smooth even when the market’s crazy. First payout came through quick, no drama. Support also replied fast when I had a question about scaling. Not perfect, but honestly, feels like a firm that actually cares about traders instead of just making it complicated.
